Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken

Slow Cooker Ritz Chicken

It seems like I've made Ritz Chicken a thousand times in the oven; it never dawned on me to try it in the slow cooker. But when I came across this recipe I had to give it a try and it's every bit as delicious with the convenience of set it and forget it crockpot cooking.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1
Add soups, sour cream, and 1 tsp of black pepper to the slow cooker and mix everything together. Place chicken in mixture and coat completely.
  2. Step 2

In a small bowl add Ritz crackers, ½ tsp black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and melted butter. Mix everything together and evenly spread over the chicken.

Cover and cook on high for 2½ to 3½ hours or on low for 6 to 7 hours.

Note

This yummy and easy dish that I came across on Slow Cooker Meals makes a wonderful sauce or as we call it around here, gravy, that makes it perfect to serve over mashed potatoes or rice. Add some green beans and carrots and you've got a classic homestyle meal with minimal effort!
