Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler
If you're looking for a dessert for Thanksgiving that isn't pumpkin, look no further. This warm, cinnamon apple dessert is over the top delicious and really you don't just have to save it for the holidays!

Preheat oven to 375 degrees, spray an 8×8 baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.Remove the cinnamon sugar packet from the Snickerdoodle cookie mix and use a hand mixer to combine the cookie dough mix, egg, and softened butter in a mixing bowl. -
Step 2
Drop by the spoonful half of the cookie mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle about 1/3 of the cinnamon sugar packet over the dough.Spread the apple pie filling into an even layer over the first cookie layer and sprinkle another 1/3 of the cinnamon sugar packet over the apple pie filling.Pinch off dollops of the remaining cookie dough and drop them over the apple pie filling layer. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the entire surface of the snickerdoodle cobbler. -
Step 3
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly. You may need to lightly tent your cobbler with a piece of aluminum foil the cobbler is getting too dark.
Allow the snickerdoodle cobbler to cool for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy! Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream as serving if you're feeling extra.
