Slow Cooker Olive Garden Chicken Pasta

This is an oldie but a goodie. We all love the Olive Garden dressing and this recipe takes that great flavor and infuses it into a creamy pasta and chicken crockpot meal.

  1. Step 1
    Place the chicken, dressing, soup,  garlic, pepper, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese in the crock pot and  give it a little stir.
     
    Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
  2. Step 2

    Turn crockpot to low or keep warm and shred chicken and stir to mix in the cream cheese well.

    At this time, cook the pasta on the stovetop per package instructions. Drain and stir the pasta into the crock pot right before serving and enjoy!

Note

The original recipe from Eating On A Dime does not call for the cream of chicken soup. But I think it makes all the difference in this dish. The dressing can be a bit twangy and overpowering for my tastes without the creaminess of the soup. This one is a long time family favorite around here.
