Sausage Stuffed Biscuits
Perfect quick and easy make ahead breakfast for those busy mornings, but they also make a great appetizer or holiday brunch item.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown sausage in a skillet adding in minced dried onion or fresh onion and garlic if you desire. Cook sausage fully, drain excess grease and add to a large mixing bowl.
To the cooked sausage add the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, and cheese and mix to combine.
-
Step 2
Grease a large muffin pan and pull each biscuit apart about halfway through the depth of it. Press each half of the biscuits into the muffin cups and up the side of each cup creating a well. Spoon sausage mixture into each dough cup (I like to fill mine pretty full, but if you have leftover sausage mixture you can freeze it to use later).
You can top them with a little extra cheese if you like, then bake for 15-20 minutes!
Note
I found this recipe from Heather, The Kneady Homesteader on YouTube a few years ago. She is a precious lady and a wonderful cook and if you need help with baking - she is your gal! Be sure to check out her channel and tell her I sent you!
