Sausage Breakfast Quiche

Sausage Breakfast Quiche

I've been making this decadent and delicious breakfast quiche for nearly 30 years, and it always shows up on Christmas morning without fail. It's one of those recipes that my family always looks forward to and I love that it's a make ahead dish with ONLY 5 SIMPLE INGREDIENTS! That makes it perfect for a laid back Christmas breakfast or brunch.

Sprinkle cheese over top of the the sausage.

In a large bowl mix eggs and half and half well and pour over the quiche.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, be careful not to overbake.

Note

The ladies I worked with at my first job back when I was just out of school always made this casserole for special occasions at work and I just fell in love with it. Many times they would change it up by adding bacon, shredded hashbrowns, and onions. And sometimes one would even show up that was all veggies like mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, etc. One thing was always for certain - there was never any leftovers!
