Rudolph Marshmallow Pops

Rudolph Marshmallow Pops

These were included in a video of some super quick and easy 5-minute Christmas treats that are perfect for kids of all ages. These are stress-free, no-bake holiday snacks made with simple pantry ingredients like pretzels, marshmallows, store-bought cookies, candy canes, melting chocolates, and fun Christmas candies. This video was all about making memories, not perfection so we left in all the silly moments, chocolate drips, and laughs along the way. If you’re looking for easy Christmas treats kids can make, holiday desserts for beginners, or fast festive ideas for family fun, you’re in the right place.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Take the candy canes out of the bag and get them ready for the marshmallows. For each marshmallow pop place two mini candy canes on wax or parchment paper facing each other forming a heart.
  2. Get your marshmallows ready by pushing the lollipop sticks into THE SIDE of them - I did this wrong the first time LOL
  3. Melt your chocolates in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave 30 more seconds and stir until smooth. I add the Crisco here to help smooth it out.
  4. Dip the marshmallows into the chocolate and place it onto the candy cane antlers, make sure the chocolate is gluing the candy canes to the marshmallow. You can add a little more chocolate under the marshmallow if needed.
  5. Add your red nose to the top of the marshmallow and then set aside (It doesn't take long to set up) or set in the freezer for just a minute to let the chocolate harden.
  6. Then use a toothpick to dip into the melted chocolate and dot the marshmallow with the melted chocolate where you want your eyes to go and press the candy eyes onto the melted chocolate. It will adhere quickly.

Note

These stayed fresh all week long in an air tight container and they turned out really cute. We also learned a lot of good techniques for future projects while making these little reindeer, too. I came across this adorable idea from Melissa at Kid Friendly Things To Do and we just loved how they turned out!
