Oven Baked Cheesy Burgers (1)

Oven Baked Burgers (with special sauce)

These messy burgers are going to change the way you make burgers at home. Cheesy, with a tangy sauce, and baked wrapped up in a foil pack! They're worth every napkin!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish and chili powder in a small bowl and set aside.

  1. Step 2

In a mixing bowl combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Form into 4 thin patties (or you can make two really big burgers) and sprinkle with salt.

Heat oiled pan over medium high heat and sear and fry patties on each side until just under-cooked. This will usually take 3-4 minutes total depending on thickness.

  1. Step 3

To assemble the burgers place bottom bun on large piece of foil. Top with slice of cheese, burger patty, onions, 1-2 Tablespoons sauce, second cheese slice and top bun. Bring up edges of foil and wrap securely around burger. Repeat process to prepare each burger.

Place the foil packs on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until hot, melty and cooked through.
