Our Favorite Restaurant Style Pimento Cheese

Our Favorite Restaurant Style Pimento Cheese

We have a wonderful restaurant in our town that has the absolute BEST pimento cheese. It's soft and creamy, and the flavor is perfect without the twang that a lot of pimento cheeses have. I happened to come across the ingredients list and this is my copycat version and me and family all think it's pretty darn close to the original. And it's just a few simple ingredients and not much work at all to pull this one off!

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Grate the cheeses into a large bowl - if you can it really makes a nice texture to grate the cheeses two different sizes.

Rinse and drain the pimentos well, this really reduces the salty taste of the finished product.

Into the bowl of grated cheeses add rinsed and drained pimentos (I prefer to use only about 2 ounces), mayo, garlic powder, and Worchester sauce and mix gently to combine.

Cover and chill for a few hours then serve it up with crackers, on a BLT sandwich like I did in the video, or as a snack warmed up with pork rinds like our favorite restaurant does.
