One Skillet Cheesy Chicken Pasta
One skillet and 30 minutes is all you need to make this yummy, cheesy dish that the whole family will love. And although I didn't add them in the recipe video; you can easily sneak some veggies into this one, too.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Step 1
Prepare the noodles according to the package directions. Drain when finished cooking but reserve some of the pasta water in case you need to add a little into the dish later.
-
Step 2
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the peppers (or any veggies you like) and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Add the garlic and flour and stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
-
Step 3
Slowly whisk in the milk and cook on medium until thick. Add 2 cups of cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
-
Step 4
Stir in the cooked pasta, chicken, ranch powder, and ¾ cup cheese. Season to taste with pepper.
Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup cheese on top and cover until the cheese melts.
Note
I really love the flavor of this dish; even though it's very cheesy the ranch and garlic still stands out brightly. I've made this recipe from Inside Brew Crew Life a number of times changing the veggies out for whatever I need to use up in my fridge.
