Mt Dew Apple Dumplings

Mt Dew Apple Dumplings

I know this sounds like a crazy dessert but you've just got to trust me here; these are amazing! These are so gooey, sweet and delicious, perfect with vanilla ice cream and they make their own sauce to spoon over the top, too. It's not something we can eat every day but makes a really great special treat. If you ask my mother in love what her favorite dessert is, she will without a doubt say, "Mt Dew Apples!" She has made this recipes more times than I can count and it's always a hit and people can never believe it has Mt Dew in it.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Roll each apple wedge up in a crescent roll beginning at the wide end of the dough and place it in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with a little cinnamon. (You can even sprinkle some cinnamon on the inside of the crescents before you wrap the apple if you're feeling extra)

  2. Step 2

Mix together melted butter, both the sugars, cinnamon, and vanilla and pour over rolls. Then pour the Mountain Dew around the rolls.

Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.

Note

If you don't have Mt Dew you can also make this recipe with orange juice or really any sweet drink you have on hand. I have a little more info about this in the video. Enjoy!
