Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Mugs & Snowmen Hats
These were included in a video of some super quick and easy 5-minute Christmas treats that are perfect for kids of all ages. These are stress-free, no-bake holiday snacks made with simple pantry ingredients like pretzels, marshmallows, store-bought cookies, candy canes, melting chocolates, and fun Christmas candies. This video was all about making memories, not perfection so we left in all the silly moments, chocolate drips, and laughs along the way. Set out a cookie on a sheet of parchment or wax paper for your treat to sit on top of

Melts the chocolates in a microwave safe dish for 1 minute, stir, and microwave 30 more seconds, stir until smooth.

Cut a mini candy cane at the base of the crook (the curved section) leaving 2 parts, the curved part, and a straight candy stick and push the curved part of the candy cane into the side of the marshmallow as a mug handle

Use that handle to hold the marshmallow while you dip it into the chocolate - only covering the bottom and top of the marshmallow then place one end of your chocolate topped marshmallow onto the cookie so the chocolate can act as glue

Next, push the other half of the candy can at a slight angle into the chocolate top - representing a candy stick coming out of your mug

Add some dehydrated marshmallow bits to the melted chocolate

Let these set up for just a couple minutes then use a toothpick to place a dot of melted chocolate on the side of your "mug" and "glue" on any candy decorations onto your mug. You might need to hold the sprinkles in place until the chocolate has dried enough to set - it will just take a second or two.

And for the snowmen hats, we just covered a marshmallow in chocolate and stuck it to an Oreo cookie then decorated the "hat" just like the mugs.
