Lemon Garlic Salmon
Salmon is something I didn't really have much experience cooking until the last couple of years and I'm loving it! I'm finding lots of new ways to prepare and season it up and this air fryer version might be the best one yet. This recipe is for about 2-3 small filets but it's easy to double it for a larger crowd.

Step 1
Brush the salmon filets with olive oil.In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, lemon pepper, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over salmon filets.Place lemon slices in the air fryer basket and place the salmon filets on top.Air fry at 400 degrees for 6 to 9 minutes or just until cooked through 145 degrees internal temp. Do not overcook.
Note
I found this recipe from Spend With Pennies and didn't change it much at all except that I had a really large lemon so I put some slices on top of the fish, too. I really like lemon flavor cooked into fish. Here are some more helpful tips she gave:
Salmon can vary in thickness which will affect cook time. Thinner salmon filets may only need 6-7 minutes while thicker filets may need 9-11 minutes. Check your salmon early and allow for more time if needed.
Place the thermometer in the thickest part of the salmon and remove when the internal temp is 145° F.
If left in the basket the salmon will continue to cook; once it’s done, remove from the basket immediately.
