Lazy Marry Me Chicken Pasta

Lazy Marry Me Chicken Pasta

If you love the deep, rich sun dried tomato taste of the classic Marry Me Chicken you HAVE TO TRY this quick semi-homemade version! It's perfect for nights when you're short on time but you have the craving for something hearty.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Cook the frozen chicken according to the package instructions

  2. Step 2

While the chicken is baking, in a large sauce pan mix together the jar of alfredo, heavy cream, and pesto on low-med heat. Gently stir in the tortellini, cover with a lid and the cooking time will very depending on if you are using a fresh or frozen pasta. Check your package for cooking times (the fresh only takes about 5 minutes).

  3. Step 3

Chop the cooked chicken tenders into bite size pieces and add them to the sauce, gently coating the chicken. Then it's ready to serve and enjoy!

Note

I add a little Italian seasoning or parsley on top for some color and sometimes some extra cheese, but you honestly don't need to add anything - the jarred sauces do all the work on this one! This is an idea I came across on Instagram from Matt Ramsey @cookerofdeliciousness Give him a follow for more great food inspiration!
