Frito Pie “Casserole”
You will love this hearty ground beef "chili" casserole topped with Fritos, cheese, and green onions. It's inexpensive, quick, and easy to make and it will feed a crowd of even the pickiest of eaters.

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F.
Meanwhile cook the ground beef in a large frying pan over medium-high heat crumbling the ground beef well while it's cooking and drain excess grease.
Add taco seasoning, chili sauce, salsa, and corn to the pan. Stir well and leave to simmer for a few minutes.

Pour the meat mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Sprinkle the corn chips on top of the meat.
Then sprinkle with the shredded cheese and chopped green onions on top of the corn chips.
Place the dish in the oven and bake until the cheese is completely melted. 9-11 min

Serve and enjoy this one on it's own or with a big green salad. I like it just as it is but Patrick always tops his with a dollop of sour cream. I found this recipe years ago from This Is Not Diet Food and it's always a hit whether I'm making it just for us or taking it to a friends house or potluck.
