Crockpot Hot Dog Chili Sauce

Crockpot Hot Dog Chili Sauce

This rich hot dog sauce is so delicious and it will take your everyday, run of the mill cookout or tailgate party to the next level! Plus it's so easy to put together and you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen right now! Make it early, let the crockpot do all the work cooking it a couple hours allowing all the flavors to come together, then switch it to warm and let your guests self serve at your hot dog bar.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1
In a skillet over medium heat combine the ground beef and water making sure to constantly break up the ground beef while it is cooking; you want it as fine as possible.
Drain off any remaining water/grease and add the beef to your slow cooker.
  2. Step 2
Then add all the remaining ingredients and stir together.
Let cook on LOW 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
Serve on hot dogs, french fries, or burgers!

Note

This stores well for about 4 days and if it gets too thick Persnickety Plates says you can use a little water or ketchup to thin it out.
