Crispy Parmesan Onion Rings
This is a really fun, low carb, and gluten free way to enjoy the flavor of onion rings! Very few ingredients, no hot oil frying, and ready in about 20-30 all on one sheet pan.
P.S. They're not actually going to be rings in the end - but squares, LOL

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. DONT SKIP USING THE PARCHMENT PAPER - TRUST MESlice the onion into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Sprinkle half of the parmesan cheese in an even layer over the sheet pan, then place the onion slices in a single layer on top of the parmesan.Season the onion slice to taste, then lightly spray each one with cooking oil spray. Then add the remaining parmesan on top and bake for 20 -30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Note
I've seen this recipe all over the internet and I just had to give it a try too! I've found the easiest way to cut them apart is using a pizza cutter but I've seen others use scissors. And we also love to dip these in the "secret" burger sauce; every store has their own brand of it or you can make your own.
