Crescent Lasagna
This is a fun twist on classic lasagna, it's full of flavor, is so quick to put together and bake, and my entire family loves it!

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spay.Brown ground beef, onions, and garlic in a large skillet and drain any excess grease.If you want to add spinach or other veggies, add them in now to soften.Add tomato sauce and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes and remove from the heat. -

Combine cottage cheese, an egg, and dried parsley flakes. Set aside.

To assemble the lasagna, press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom and up the sides of the 9 x 13 casserole dish.Layer with six slices mozzarella cheese, followed by half of the meat mixture and a half of the grated Parmesan cheese.Spread the cottage cheese mixture over the meat filling and top with the remaining meat sauce.Add another layer of mozzarella slices.Top the cheese with another can of crescent roll dough and press edges to seal.Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with remaining grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. -
Step 4
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until rolls are a deep golden brown. Once it's out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and slice.

When I saw this recipe from Plain Chicken I knew that my family would love it. They all love any dish with buttery crescents and who doesn't love lasagna. Hope you love it, too.
