Crack Chicken In The Crockpot

Crack Chicken In The Crockpot

This might be the first recipe that I ever made in the crockpot, it's definitely the one that got me hooked on crockpot cooking! Just a few cheap and basic ingredients, so easy, so versatile, and SO YUMMY!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Spray crockpot with non stick spray then add chicken breasts, sprinkle on ranch seasoning packet, and add block of cream cheese. (I like to chop it up into smaller pieces, it just seems to melt down and stir in easier after the chicken is cooked.)

Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours or high 5-5 hours.

  2. Step 2

Once chicken is done, shred it up (I leave it in the crockpot and shred it with my mix and chop) and stir together well to combine the cream cheese and seasoning.

Add cheese and bacon bits, stir to combine. Put the lid on just long enough to let the cheese melt. Serve and enjoy!

Note

This is great served on toasted buns with lettuce and tomatoes, used as a dip for corn chips or tortillas, over baked potatoes, used a a taco or quesadilla filling, or just eaten with a fork LOL! The possibilities are endless!
