Chicken Divan

Chicken Divan

This recipe combines two of my favorite casseroles, chicken and broccoli,  into one delicious dish. I've seen Paula Deen make this a couple different ways with varying difficulty and ingredients - I've chosen the easier recipe that is also made with simpler pantry staple ingredients most home cooks usually have on hand. My family loved this dish and I think yours will too! And just wanted to note that in the video I made half of this recipe and it was plenty for my family, even had a little left overs for lunch.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees and spray an 11×17 casserole dish with non-stick spray.

To a large mixing bowl add cans of soup, sour cream, Gruyere and mayonnaise. Then add the curry powder, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste and give it a little mix to combine mixing in the chicken broth a little at a time for a smooth sauce, if needed.

Now add the broccoli and chicken and mix well then spread it into the casserole dish.

Top with Cheddar cheese and crushed butter crackers and drizzle with melted butter.

Bake for 35 – 45 minutes, until hot and bubbly and top is golden.

Note

You can find this recipe and many other delicious dishes on Paula Deen's website, so if you need some more new ideas for southern comfort food it's your go-to spot!
