Cheddar Bacon Turkey Melt
The Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Melt is a delicious, savory sandwich featuring layers of sliced turkey, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese, all grilled to golden perfection. It’s a quick, satisfying meal perfect for lunch or a simple dinner!

Ingredients
Instructions
-
Step 1
Lay out 4 slices of bread and spread a layer of mayo and mustard on each slice.
Add 1 slice of cheese, followed by a few slices of turkey, 2 slices of cooked bacon, and a tomato slice.
Top with the remaining bread slices and spread butter evenly on the outer sides of the bread.
-
Step 2
Heat a skillet or griddle to medium heat, or if you have a panini press it would work great.
Place the sandwiches on the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Cut them in half and I like to wait until now to add my lettuce so it will stay cool and crisp.
Note
As usual I only made half of this recipe in the video but I like to give you measurements to accommodate a family of at least four. I like to use different flavors of deli turkey - they have so many to choose from in the deli - and different cheddars, I especially love a smoked cheddar cheese. And I've also added some of those candied jalapenos onto this sandwich and it took it over the top!
