Big Mac Skillet Casserole

Big Mac Skillet Casserole

My family fell in love with this Big Mac skillet casserole, the sauce really makes this meal and it was so easy to pull the entire casserole together and makes enough to feed a crowd!

Ingredients

Big Mac Sauce

Big Mac

Instructions

  1. Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish or 12-inch Dutch oven.

In a medium bowl, combine the sauce ingredients. Cover and set aside.
  2. Step 2
In a large cast iron skillet, add the meat and season with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned and drain any excess grease.
Transfer half of the meat to the casserole dish or Dutch oven and top meat with half of the Big Mac Sauce and half of the cheeses. Repeat to create another layer of meat, sauce and cheese.
  3. Step 3
Slightly flatten the canned biscuits and evenly place on top of the casserole.
Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the biscuits are browned. Remove from the oven and brush the biscuits with butter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Serve warm.

Note

I saw Cowboy Kent Rollins make this recipe on YouTube cowboy style, he cooked it in a big cast iron dutch oven with hot coals on top and bottom. But being the gentleman he is, he adapted it nicely for all of us who have to cook our family's supper indoors.
