Beef Taco Skillet
I love this one skillet taco dish that has tons of flavor, beef, black beans, salsa and topped off with melted cheese and it only takes about 30 minutes to get this meal on the table. This is one of my personal favorites!
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Add the beef and onions to a skillet over medium-high heat and begin to brown and break up the meat, removing excess grease, then add in the spices. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8-10 minutes or until the beef has cooked through.Preheat your oven broiler.
-
Step 2
Reduce the stove heat to medium and add in the black beans, salsa, and tortillas. Toss gently until the tortillas are folded in (I add them in small batches), and ensure they're spread out around the skillet fairly evenly.Let the skillet heat through for a few minutes. Then top the skillet with the cheese, and transfer it to your oven. Leave it in there for a few minutes so the cheese gets nice and bubbly and browned - watch it close, it won't take long at all to brown under the broiler.Serve immediately with whatever toppings your family enjoys.
